David A. Elden

David A. Elden- Los Angeles, CA

David A. Elden is recognized as one of the leading Federal and State criminal defense attorneys. He has earned a reputation for aggressive representation and knowledgeable preparation in defending the rights of those charged with crimes. One hundred percent of Mr. Elden’s practice is defending individuals and businesses who are charged with having committed Federal or State crimes, and he travels to Federal and State courts across the entire United States.

Mr. Elden’s practice has focused on criminal defense since 1970. He has served as President of the Criminal Courts Bar for Los Angeles County, and sits on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL). He is currently co-chair of the NACDL strike force, which comes to the aid of lawyers who are threatened with contempt of court for vigorously representing their clients.

Hugh Anthony Levine- San Francisco, CA

Hugh Anthony Levine has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of Federal and State criminal law. White-collar criminal defense and representation of professionals in licensing and disciplinary proceedings comprise much of his concentration. He has successfully, and discreetly, represented scores of professionals – doctors, executives, lawyers, including partners in several prestigious law firms – in criminal investigations and prosecutions and related professional disciplinary proceedings.

Since earning his law degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1971, Mr. Levine has tried over 150 felony jury trials in Federal and State courts. He has briefed and argued over 100 criminal appeals, including arguments before the highest courts of California and New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Having served as an assistant district attorney in both New York County and San Francisco for a total of 12 years, he has handled complex white-collar crime and homicide cases – including the notorious 1977 Golden Dragon massacre cases in San Francisco. This gives him the insight and dual perspective of a defender/former prosecutor.

Mr. Levine has been featured by Court-TV and Fox News as an expert legal commentator in various highly-publicized criminal cases. Active in the criminal defense bar on the national and local levels, Mr. Levine has served as President of the Criminal

H. Daniel Murphy

H. Daniel Murphy- Westport, CT

Mr. Murphy is a graduate of both Fordham College in the Bronx and Fordham University School of Law. He practices primarily in litigation-based matters including family law (dissolution, custody, and support proceedings), criminal defense, and personal injury, in both State and Federal Courts. He also represents both individuals and businesses in commercial litigation matters, and handles immigration-related disputes and removal proceedings.

Mr. Murphy considers it a privilege to represent parents and families in the area of special education law. He is admitted to practice law in the States of Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey, as well as the Federal Districts of Connecticut, New Jersey, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.

Joseph Maya- Westport, CT

Joseph Maya received his B.A. Cum Laude from New York University, then attended the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he received his J.D. After several years at Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance) he then joined the New York City Human Rights Commission for the hands on experience it afforded. At the Commission, Mr. Maya supervised hundreds of investigations involving charges of employment discrimination, and personally litigated many cases through trial. He also, at the direction of the Mayor, conducted an investigation into alleged discriminatory practices in the New York City Police Department. Mr. Maya participated in drafting the amendments to the New York City Human Rights Law and chaired the National Employment Lawyers Association Committee on the New York City Human Rights Law.

Mr. Maya has appeared on a CBS special with Dan Rather as an expert on sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace. He also appeared as an expert on pregnancy discrimination in the work place for CNN. He has appeared many times on each of the major networks and news publications, including the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Law Journal regarding cases that he has been involved in.

Donald E. Santarelli is a highly regarded attorney active in the Federal Courts throughout the United States. His activities in the law have brought him many high profile cases, and his contacts throughout all branches of government in Washington are hard to match.

Keod McCaudif Smith

Keod McCaudif Smith- Freeport, Bahamas

Keod McCaudif Smith was born in Nassau, Bahamas and was called to The Bahamas Bar as a Barrister in September 1997 after having obtained his LLB Degree with Honours at University of Wales, Cardiff Law School in Wales, UK in 1994. He also had legal vocational training in The Bahamas during the intervening years, and a well-established law firm in The Bahamas. Mr. Smith had previously graduated from Loras College, Dubuque Iowa USA in 1988 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics.

After serving small stint with Research Division of the Central Bank of The Bahamas, he started a trade and investment consulting firm in relation to The Bahamas which took him to Japan for two years commencing in the 1990s. He reads. writes, and speaks Japanese.

In October 1997, Mr. Smith started the law firm of Commercial Law Advocates which, as it connotes, specializes in commercial litigation (banking, companies, contract, insurance, land, liquidation, securities, tort), as well as extradition and constitutional matters.

In May 2002, he was elected to The Bahamas Parliament where he served as a Member for five years. In August of that same year he was appointed to the Chairmanship of the Bahamas Environment Science & Technology (BES1) Commission (equivalent to the BPA in the USA), as well as serving as the Bahamas Ambassador for the Environment. He served in that post for five years as well.
